The tiny Flyeater bird of Malaysia -Gerygone Sulphurea








Ever walked the streets of Kuala Lumpur
and hearing a sweet song from high in the treetops
and unable to locate the bird the song is coming from?
You will never narrow down the source as the sound is dispersed
and bounced off in all directions as the bird moves its head from side to side as it sings.
Well it is actually a tiny bird about 90 mm long, that is seldom seen at ground level.It is not only found in Malaysia
but also in Australia and New Zealand.

Tropical Fruit Tree Park (Taman Dusun Bandar),Kuala Lumpur

Located at the end of Jalan Bellamy,Kuala Lumpur,
behind Kuen Cheng School and surrounded by the KL
Kwantung Cemetery and on the other side of the Federal
Highway from Brickfields, this DBKL park is dedicated
to local fruit trees.
It can be accessed from the Federal highway via Lorong
Syed Putra just after the temple and through the road passing
Le Chateau,the cemetery and Alice Smith International school.
It is also possible to access Jalan Bellamy from Old Airport
Road or Jalan Wisma Putra.
