The Kuala Lumpur Bird Park

Located in the Lake Gardens the Bird Park stretches over several acres and is covered by overhead netting.There is a mixture of local and imported birds.Many of the original bird had to be destroyed in the Bird Flu scare in 2003 and today it is stocked by new birds inclusive of wetlands varieties, peacocks, hornbills, parakeets etc. There is also a beautiful Koi pond at the entrance.The birds roam freely within the enclosure and few are caged.

There is also a butterfly park located nearby

A must visit place for the children.
